Cedar Creek Publishing is a Virginia publisher of books by exceptional and regional award-winning Virginia authors. Some authors are just emerging on the scene and Cedar Creek is proud to be launching their first book. Other authors have proven themselves with previously published works and Cedar Creek is proud to be added to their portfolio of publishing successes.
"Giving back" is a principle upon which Cedar Creek Publishing was founded. Beyond the writing ability, another important characteristic of Cedar Creek authors is their role as teachers and mentors. Aside from the book talks and book sales, these authors are our Literary Partners to inspire and encourage future writing talent. Every Cedar Creek author is committed to sharing knowledge about the writing and publishing process.
With a foundation of exceptional writing talent and the authors' shared mission of perpetuating the literary scene, it's only natural Cedar Creek books will stand out as being exceptional, too! While we prefer to publish books with a Virginia setting or theme, we'll occasionally make an exception simply because the manuscript is too good not to publish!
Cedar Creek titles are currently published in one of the following categories:
ANTHOLOGIES - collections of award-winning or juried short fiction, nonfiction, poetry and art. (Limited to Virginia writers' groups, schools, and other literary-loving organizations. Virginia setting or theme not required.)
