For 23 years, Linda has operated a home-based business as owner of Cedar Creek Publishing Services. All the while, she has continued to serve as a community volunteer, writing mentor, and homeschool mom.  In 2006, she established Cedar Creek Publishing to showcase regional writing talent in up to four books per year with a Virginia setting or theme.

Up to four books are published each year to reach readers from toddlers to senior citizens and to build on an appreciation of Virginia's culture and history.

Cedar Creek titles are published in one of the following categories:

ANTHOLOGIES - regional collections of award-winning short fiction, nonfiction, poetry and art.

CHILDREN'S BOOKS - intended for the educational market with a study and discussion guide or study aids.

GENERAL FICTION - selected from manuscripts and award-winning contest entries that educate, entertain and inspire.

LEGACY BOOKS - diaries, letters or memoirs compiled by one generation for the next.

POETRY - collections of poetry by regional award-winning poets.

REGIONAL HISTORY - compiled, written and edited by local historians.
